How much does it cost to be on the S.W.I.F.T. Elite Team for a season? How does this cost compare to other AAU teams?
The cost for the 2025 season will be $950. S.W.I.F.T. Elite works very hard to keep this cost down. Most AAU teams charge between $1,200-$1,600 per player per season. Therefore... If you are financially able to donate / sponsor the team, or work for a business that may be able to it would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to view / print out a sponsorship letter for yourself or someone (business) you know please use the contact form to request one.

Parents and families can expect the following costs associated with travel basketball:
Hotel - Costs vary per location per night S.W.I.F.T. encourages all families to stay at the same hotel to encourage friendship / relationships between players, but is not required. A detailed list will be provided as it becomes available.
Meals - All meals will be out of pocket expenses.
Travel - Gas, Tolls, etc. are out of pocket expenses as well.
Admission to tournaments - All tournaments do charge parents / family members admission. The cost varies per tournament. A detailed list will be provided as it becomes available.
8.
What if I can't attend a tournament as a parent / guardian?
There are a couple options here.
1. It may be possible to arrange for your child to stay with another players parents for the tournament. Car pooling is encouraged and builds camaraderie.
2. When needed, S.W.I.F.T. will reserve an extra room or two for players only. S.W.I.F.T. will calculate the cost of these rooms and divide it by the number of girls staying in the room(s). Chaperoned by a coach, Administrator, or parent volunteer.
Whether your child stays with another family member or in a "team room" they will need extra money for food, fun, etc.
9.
What if my child cannot attend a practice / tournament?
While we request a commitment to attend all practices and tournaments, we do understand that this is not always possible. We ask that you provide as much notice as possible to your coach when a practice / tournament will be missed.
**Frequent absences may effect playing time.
