Founder & President of Basketball Operations

Coach David Gamble began coaching in 1990, coaching youth programs (ages 6 – 18) that were responsible for

developing activities in the fundamentals of football, baseball, and basketball. He used this initial experience as a

launching pad for his 20 plus years of coaching, in which he has enhanced the skills of his players helping them

succeed on and off the court. Some highlights of his coaching career include:

Coach Washington has been with S.W.I.F.T. ELITE for over 5 years. With several years coaching women's High School basketball in the area, Coach Washington is ready to help our Athletes reach the next level.

Coach Thomas has over 25 years of playing and coaching experience. As a former collegiate athlete, Coach Thomas is excited to help other athletes realize their personal and athletic potential, while balancing the challenges that come with being a high level athlete.

Coach Thomas is also a MHSAA licensed official for Volleyball, Basketball, Football, and Lacrosse.

Amy "The Fixer" Washington is the Administrative Assistant for S.W.I.F.T. ELITE. 

Amy is the wife of Coach Washington and has had a daughter play 2 seasons with S.W.I.F.T. ELITE.
